The Q-DAS products destra and qs-STAT have some functionalities in common. So sometimes the question arises what the differences between these two products actually are. In order to answer this question, we have to take a closer look at the intended purpose of both products.
qs-STAT is designed as a classical statistical software for the acceptance of manufacturing equipment and process capability analyses. Moreover, qs-STAT is highly integrated into the Q-DAS CAMERA Concept and thus offers many additional options within the scope of the CAMERA Concept that are not feasible in destra.
destra is meant to be a statistical package applied even in the Six Sigma environment. The software covers a wide range of applications.
- Acceptance of machines
- Process analysis
- Measurement system analysis
- Reliability analysis (product life cycle)
- Regression analysis and analysis of variance
- Design of experiments (DoE)destra ist als Statistikpakt gedacht, das auch im Six Sigma Umfeld eingesetzt werden kann. Die Einsatzmöglichkeiten decken dabei ein sehr breites Spektrum ab:
At first glance, destra seems to provide more functionalities than qs-STAT. Some components such as acceptance of machines or process capability analysis are included in both products. Where is the difference?
